제43회 대구국제성악콩쿠르, 북미 예선 개최한다

유럽·아시아 예선에 이어 더욱 폭넓은 인재선발 토대 마련

제43회 대구국제성악콩쿠르가 북미 지역에서 최초로 예선을 개최한다. 대구국제성악콩쿠르는 (사)대구음악협회가 대구시와 공동 주최하고,
동일문화장학재단과 공동 주관한다.
이번 북미 예선은 국제음악콩쿠르세계연맹(WFIMC) 정회원 대회로서 대구국제성악콩쿠르의 국제적 위상을 더욱 확고히 하는 전환점이
것으로 기대된다. 대구국제성악콩쿠르는 1983년 창설 이래 유망 성악가들이 거쳐 간 등용문으로 자리 잡았으며, 올해는 기존의 유럽 예
(밀라노), 아시아 예선(대구)에 더해 북미 예선(뉴욕)이 새롭게 추가돼 글로벌 예선 체계를 완성했다.
각 지역 예선을 통해 선발된 참가자들은 오는 8월 24일 대구 본선에 진출하며, 8월 26일 결선을 통해 최종 수상자가 결정된다. 심사의 투명성
국제적 신뢰를 높이기 위해 유럽, 북미, 한국 3개 권역에서 예선을 거친 참가자들이 8월 대구에서 본선을 거쳐 최종 결선에 진출할 수 있도

참가 대상은 1989년 8월 27일부터 2007년 8월 26일 사이에 출생한 전 세계 성악 전공자이며, 국적에 관계없이 지원 가능하다. 참가신청

제43회 대구국제성악콩쿠르 1위(문화체육관광부장관상) 1명에게는 상금 2천만원 등 최고상의 영예가 돌아가며 총 상금 약 6천만원, 총 20
부문의 상장과 상금, 대구오페라하우스와 서울시 오페라단의 오페라 주·조역 데뷔와 오펀스튜디오 선발의 기회가 주어진다.

The 43rd Daegu International Vocal Music Competition will hold its first-ever preliminary round in North America.

The competition is jointly organized by the Daegu City and the Daegu Music Association, with the Daegu Culture and Arts Foundation co-hosting the event.

This North American preliminary is expected to serve as a turning point in solidifying the global stature of the Daegu International Vocal Music Competition, which is a full member event of the World Federation of International Music Competitions (WFIMC).

Since its founding in 1983, the competition has established itself as a launching pad for aspiring vocalists. This year, in addition to the existing European (Milan) and Asian (Daegu) preliminary rounds, a new North American preliminary round (New York) will be added, completing the competition's global preliminary round system.

Participants selected from each regional preliminary will advance to the Daegu finals, which will be held on August 24, with the final round taking place on August 26, where the ultimate winner will be decided. To enhance the transparency of judging and international trust, a multi-stage judging system has been introduced, allowing participants from the European, North American, and Korean regions to advance through the final round in Daegu.

The competition is open to vocal majors born between August 27, 1989, and August 26, 2007, and is available to participants of all nationalities. Applications can be submitted online through the official Daegu International Vocal Competition website (www.daegumusic.com).

The winner of the 43rd Daegu International Vocal Competition (awarded the Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism Prize) will receive a grand prize of 20 million KRW, along with a total prize pool of approximately 60 million KRW, including 20 awards in various categories. The winners will also be given opportunities for debut performances with the Daegu Opera House and Seoul Metropolitan Opera, as well as a chance to be selected for the Opera Studio program.
